Well usually I post pretty things, but I also like to keep you informed about critters in your yard. We (hubby) had to cut out a 5 foot branch off our apple tree tonight as it was showing signs of mass webbing and defoliation. Apparently the culprit is the Fall Webworm which can attack Apple, Ash, Cherry, Elm, Maple, Willow and other trees and shrubs. We burned the branch so it wouldn't spread to other trees. Check your Apple trees, fellow at Earlys mentioned he has seen them in others.
