At Surefire sports you can expect only the best in firearms training. We are Saskatoon's only dedicated firearms education center. We offer a conveniently located space for all of our training and testing.

Non Restricted Course -  8 Hours Classroom time required

Restricted Course - 6 hours classroom time required

We offer weekly courses with evening classes available.

Tuesday and Wednesday non restricted course 5:30- 9:30.

Thursday Restricted Course - 5:30- 9:30 *

Saturday - Non Restricted Course - This course is completed in one day - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Sunday - Restricted Course - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.  

* must have completed the non restricted course within 7 days prior to this course 

 

The Canadian Firearms Safety Course

This is a basic firearms safety training course; it is designed to give the students a working knowledge of handling firearms safely and familiarity with the laws and procedures regarding firearms ownership in Canada. Following the firearms training, even complete novices should have no problem passing the required examinations.  The course is designed so that those who have never handled guns will gain a good understanding of the subject. Students who have experience find the course to be a great refresher and excellent preparation for the Canadian Firearms Safety Examination.
