Soup was good. Deep fried stuff was very very greasy, I could not eat. Spicy dish was ok. We will give it another try. We called in and picked up. Front entrance was very dirty and dining room did not seem too welcoming. Kinda dark. Service was excellent

About ten years ago I went into a Burmese restaurant in Taipei and tried mohinga, a type of startlingly delicious fish soup unlike anything else I've eaten and the national dish of Myanmar. I've sought out Burmese food ever since. I went to a Burmese grocer in Edmonton and asked where I could get good Burmese food. Much to my disappointment, he said Saskatoon. Years later when I finally had the chance to visit the city, I went straight to the Golden Pagoda and ordered mohinga. It was absolutely heavenly, some of the most satisfying food I've eaten in my life. Deep, subtle, complex flavours and textures. The portion was also large enough for two people and clearly under-priced at $16. Saskatoon is so lucky to have the Golden Pagoda. Highest possible recommendation.

Golden Pagoda has been one of our favorite restaurants in Saskatoon for several years. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and they always have made our two young boys feel welcome.

Always have excellent service and the food is amazing! A lovely family owns this restaurant; always enjoy seeing their children when we go. We have family coming from Halifax this sumner and Golden Pagoda is a must to treat them to.

I love this restaurant and all the food they make is delicious and aromatic. Personal favorites are the spicy rice bowl (with extra vegetables!) and the coconut noodle bowl. The dish prices are very reasonable. Beyond the food, this family business is worth supporting; they are friendly and accommodating. One of Saskatoon's unassuming gems for sure.

I accidentally went into Golden Pagoda and that turned out as an awesome experience. Owner of the restaurant was very friendly and he exactly understood what I was looking for. Not only that, he made an awesome Burmese dish which was not even on his restaurant menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and I would highly recommend Golden Pagoda. It worth every single penny you spend. Its better than many authentic restaurants and prices are affordable as well. Keep up the good work. Good Luck.

I love the coconut noodle bowl, but everything I've tried is delicious. Staff are always super friendly.

I was very happy with my first experience with Burmese food! The Coconut Shrimp (spice level #2) was delicious! It was accompanied with the Coconut Rice which made a filling meal. My friend had the Malay Curry Laksa Coconut Soup which she enjoyed too. It was a huge bowl with rice noodles and lemon,cilantro and onion to add. I am sure to back and try something elase!
